^ Busaba grub is always worth paying for though, one of my favourite places to grab a bite in Soho, and as an added bonus, now one in Stratford.

Feel your pain on the account pounding. I've just had to cough up £650 for flights, which is no fun at all just after Christmas, especially when I'd really much rather buy an iPhone 4S.

This weather is breaking me right now. Just had to walk headlong into the driving wind and horizontal rain. now have the joy of sitting at work in soaked trousers.

I see and hear more and more complaints about Soundcloud lately,
most of them about sc taking down dj mixes/remixes/edits etc.

i know and understand they are under a lot of pressure and have little choice but to take these mixes down to avoid lawsuits etc but i always thought soundcloud kind of represented this need for an online platform for musicians -and in this case specifically dj's- to share their work.
i think if anything, soundcloud is helping the industry by hosting these dj mixes so people can stumble upon a track they enjoy and go out and buy it.

maybe instead of taking the mix down the uploader could agree in terms to always put a tracklist in the description

Want to take Laptop, Maschine Mikro and Audio2DJ away with me soon. My Acer laptop is slightly longer than the average 15.4" screen laptop. Which makes buying an equipment bag for travel really difficult.

Found out last night that my best mate and my girlfriend went on a date together 2 months ago (We've been together about 6 months). Ended up with them kissing in his car, whilst she sat on her lap.

My mate confessed this to me last night - he showed me all the facebook messages between them which are ridiculously flirty and a couple are graphic. He deleted all the texts they'd sent between each other before I got a chance to see.

Both are blaming each other for it starting. Both are saying it's the other's fault for the messages carrying on - up until Wednesday........

Honestly feel like I'm going to kill someone. Disgusted.

Shit that sucks man! Hope you work it out :)

Somebody jumped in front of the train today, I was on that train on my way to my exam. Ended up being 2 hours late for my exam so it was rescheduled to the day I have to leave for my skitrip. FML

someone jumped infront of a train on one of my daily routes a couple weeks back. as truely dreadful as it is that someone would resort to that, i always think theyr dicks for traumatising innocent train drivers in the process.

also hope you come out of it a stronger man robo, really feel for you.

Someone on my Facebook doing one of those attention seeking, 'my relationship is in crisis, and I know that my girfriend/boyfriend will read this' status updates today.

Really hate it when people do that.

I went to Germany with work last week. The novelty has already worn off and I'm due to spend all of next week over there again. Travelling for work sucks.

Ha, are you getting much free time to yourself? I'm going away with work for three weeks in a few days, already know that the workload is going to be absolutely crazy, so kind of mixed feelings!

I can confidently say i have the biggest cock in Leeds as my housemate.

The hilarious story from this time yesterday: I wake up and go to the shop to buy snacks and paper. I sit in front room to read the paper but flatmate is playing FIFA and keeps turning the light off, even after i try to explain that we can do both things in the front room at once.

2 in the morning, we are trying to watch a documentary at a sensible volume on a laptop, he is still playing fifa and keeps moaning, and turns the TV to a ridiculous lever.

We manage to prize him off the TV for an hour at about 4 (at this point totalling 15 hours or so straight of fifa in the dark) or so to watch A Cross The Universe. He's complaining for the first 30 minutes or so, then he says 'it's boring' and switches the TV back to fifa.

I unplug everything at mains in fury and begin argument that he can do what he likes in his own personal area, and he should move his TV and such so the four other people can use the communal area for communal things. He starts threatening me and having stabs at my sexuality. This continues for about an hour. I go to my room and chill out a bit on the piano.

Talking comes from the front room but i can't be bothered to investigate. Another housemate comes down at six and tells me that obnoxious fifa flatmate called the police. The officer basically told him to move his personal things from the communal area and explained that it's a waste of his time.

Ten this morning, landlord comes in to do a few things, whilst fifa boy is still on the playstation, they get in to an argument resulting in landlord repeating what all the other tenants and police officer said.

I get up about six to shouting up stairs, go up and have a look and lo and behold, fifa and swearing at people. I intervene and he starts to make vulgar 'faggot' comments and then brings up the whole 'God hates fags' angle and why i'm going to hell.

So basically, anyone got an unwanted flatmate to trade? I'm sure it'll be an upgrade.

Now this is how it started, my dreams all broken hearted yet i want you, baby.

House drama is never fun! esp if you know you're stuck with them for another 6 months...

I'm wading through an epic patch of creative block when it comes to producing tracks.. cant get any track past a 1 bar loop without closing it and giving up for days. Hope it goes away soon, I miss making tunes

Sounds like a top twat. Must have something else going on in his life to act in such a way. Or he's just deeply disturbed.

I'm assuming it's a 'random' from gumtree or something? It's stories like this that's really putting me off living with strangers. On the one hand, you could land on your feet and find some genuinely awesome people (friend of mine in Leeds found a flatmate this way, they're still really good mates, and she's now mates with all his mates and vice versa). On the other hand, you could end up with some moron for 6 months/ a whole year.
