what are everyones thought on this fairy random sub genre, i found this interesting mix which is an excellent intro...

Love this sound but its nothing new. Wouldn't call it minimal wave either, sounds like 80's electronica/disco/funk edits.
Listen to some of this years Tesla Boy mixtapes, outstanding...

mullet records is exceptional for modern takes on early 80s jams, i grant u that, i prefer the instrumental tracks by them though, like space bar...

haha,

unfortunately the prefix micro- has been used already for micro house, plus minimal wave isnt something that has just emerged, its basically early/rare 80s synth pop...

I recently stumbled over this genre ( and label) by listening to jamie jones fabric 59 with oppenheimer analysis in it.
