anyone on this board listen to them? for the uninitiated, both are pop punk indie hipster types who somewhat go hand in hand (literally)- Best Coast are 60s-esque pop but through a lo-fi guitar pedal, where as Wavves are far more abrasive and thrashy.

I for one fucking love both of them. (I'd link to a BC song but I'm only allowed one video, sadface)

A pair of band who I've seen from afar in various blogs, but never taken the time to listen to. But that track is great.

Never really listened to Best Coast.

I like Wavves' "King Of The Beach" album. Don't much care for their other stuff though.

is this what ur talking about: ??

theres nowt wrong with them, but i definitly heard better, the video really started putting me off the band so i had to close my eyes,

the sound of both them if im honest is just a bit nieve, thus i agree with sixs in that sense. they need to develop their sound more of their to compete with the likes of soft metals and crystal stilts for example

The pricks know how to strum the guitar for sure, don’t they? Some of their tracks are really refreshing. The other day, I checked out “Weed Demon”, “So Bored”, “California Goths”, “I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl”. “Life Sux” disappoints. Wish they had sung and played it better!

love Best Coast but it was hard for a time to listen to them, their songs depicted a relationship that went sour for me, will probably start listening to them again
