anyone on this board listen to them? for the uninitiated, both are pop punk indie hipster types who somewhat go hand in hand (literally)- Best Coast are 60s-esque pop but through a lo-fi guitar pedal, where as Wavves are far more abrasive and thrashy.

Never really listened to Best Coast.

best coast are far too nu-girly to take seriously but wavves are kinda fun in the summer.
their recording process puts me off them though |

The pricks know how to strum the guitar for sure, don’t they? Some of their tracks are really refreshing. The other day, I checked out “Weed Demon”, “So Bored”, “California Goths”, “I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl”. “Life Sux” disappoints. Wish they had sung and played it better!

love Best Coast but it was hard for a time to listen to them, their songs depicted a relationship that went sour for me, will probably start listening to them again
