Didn't get to listen to that many mixes this year unfortunately.

Two I really liked that came out late in the year were:

Skream's Warehouse Project mix:

Obviously a very talented guy, this set sounded like it must have been a seriously intense night in the Warehouse - and included one of my all time favourites tracks - 'Flash' by Fix aka Orlando Voorn.

and the Daft Punk 'Teachers' podcast.

What mixes floated your boat this year?

Tesla Boy's 2011 Mixtape series was outstanding, especially the New Years, Febuary and May's mixes.
Also
Radio Soulwax - This Is Belgium Pt 2 {CherryMoonOnValium}
Breakbot Lazy Sunday Selecta.

Agree with Breakbot's lazy sunday selecta. There's also been a couple of great essential mixes this year, Julio Bashmore, SBTRKT and Jamie XX being my favorites. The magicians magic tapes should also get a mention.

Dimitri From Paris's Essential Mix > all 2011 essential mixes

Oh, totally forgot about that one! It's definitely up there as well. Soul Clap's was rather excellent too now when I think about it.

Ahhh forgot about Soul Clap. Tiger & Woods need to do one this year, and then all will be right in the universe

Aeroplane, Seth Troxler and Art Department's essential mixes were my favs. Not heard Julio Bashmore's, will have to check it out. Balance 020 by Deetron is also amazing!

Aeroplane's essential was in 2010. If it wasn't I'd definitely had mentioned it.
