I was going to buy a ticket for just friday night, but I'm now stuck covering my restaurant manager's shifts all weekend.

Seriously cannot wait. First time this year and heard so many good stories/ reports from last year from different groups of mates into completely different music so hoping it can fill the Glastonbury shaped void in my summer.

Not too bothered about it raining to be honest. Gonna be going back to a mates house for after parties every night so always gonna have clean clothes, a shower and warm bed. Only major downside will be the mud, hate not being able to chill and sit down on the floor at festivals :(

Not that I'm too fussed about the rain, but it's the not being able to sit down that annoys me as well. That and stacking it in liquid mud twice at Glasto last year. Not easy cleaning your hands with wet wipes and alcohol handwash at 4am when you're mashed.

But should be great fun. I get to see Brenmar and Lapalux, so big bonus.

Get another plastic poncho (you, those cheap things you can throw away after and which make hot girls look like garbage), spread it out and you can sit on the ground. Sure, it's not that great but still works.

This weekend I'll be on call for work, so dedicating my quiet weekend to Ableton, and trying to finish a couple of housey tracks I've been working on.

I'm actually doing things this weekend!

Off to XOYO tonight to see DJ Pierre, L Vis, XXXY and others. Then up early tomorrow to go to Brighton for the first time in my life, where I'll be celebrating a friends birthday.

I'd be more excited if I wasn't knackered after the week from hell at work.

Spending tomorrow protesting, should be good. Come along if you wanna stop the NHS being dismantled. 11 o'clock, Embankment or Temple tube.

^ Is that a Laurel Halo DJ or live set? Either way I'm jealous.

If you speak to her, tell her the album is likely to get a top 7 placing in Evangelink88's end of year chart, she should be very proud of her achievement.

Quite how that show hasn't sold out yet is beyond me. I know there are a lot of amazing nights on in London this Saturday but:

Simian Mobile Disco - Live
Rebuild - Live Acid Jam with A Guy Called Gerald & Graham Massey
dBridge
Mark E
Lone
Radioactive Man - Live
Alexander Robotnik - Live
BNJMN - Live
Matt Walsh

That's got to take some beating.

Considering staying sober then running the Run To The Beat half marathon on Sunday morning, but desperately trying to fend of this fecking chest infection in order to be able to do so.
