Booty Bass either means Miami Bass or Ghettotech. The tracks in this thread are just house with 808 samples or dirty vocals...

Miami Bass:

"I focused on the dubstep and forgot the garage and funky. I swore UK garage sounds different....but I listen to a lot of hardcore."

Yeah but by your logic House isn't House, Techno isn't Techno and nobody knows wtf Electro is..

The tracks we've posted so far have clear influences from oldschool Miami Bass and Ghettotech. I'd just hate to have to nitpick and start calling it something like "Miami Bass House" or "Nu Ghettofunk."

and we're certainly not the only ones calling this Booty Bass

ANYWAYS!

For those who may have missed this remix :)

Lots of people know what electro is. Just not some of the people on this forum.

That's more like it.

There is no proper version of Big Booty Bitches, it started as a youtube video. This is the most proper version.

New Dirtybird mix from Kill Frenzy has some nice tracks in it, much more house but there's some good *Genre name censored* in there too

Anyone got any suggestions for similar track to this one from Mensah. Similar old skool percussion, but switching up the vibe, a little darker. Less booty, I guess.

^ Yesss, what a classic! Wish stanton warriors would keep making tracks like that.

Mikix takes a bit of a dark miami bass route with this one

Also Danny Daze did a Bboy special guest mix for Jaymo & AG on the weekend, very much the kind of music discussed here and the detroit electro thread

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01c2y9t

starts at 53 mins ish
