that's normal here. Actually no one gives you feedback as long as you don't produce or don't have a name. Glad someone gave me feedback :D
My feedback: Nice Disco Mix ;) |

for more feedback i'd recommend you putting more effort to your mixes.
3 simple tricks: 1. Make them longer (1h+!!!) i personally hate 30-40 min mixes. i think its lazy work, too easy and no develoment in those mixes.. imagine your mix would be 2hours, starting smooth and slow, and going more funky and fast 2. Put up some unique artwork + some cool text (DiscoCreep Essential Mix !! ;) 3. Don't give away the whole tracklist! Your track selection is good, keep 1 or 2 tracks secret, so ppl will necessarily give feedback to get those ids |

appreciate your honesty, although i must say i keep the mixes around 40 mins as i tend to like them better when their not too long, with exceptions of course, but that dosnt mean theres any less effort put in or that i'm being lazy. i just try for the more "quality over quantity" route. maybe that dosnt come across as much lol

why would you record a 40 minute mix? your set at a club wouldnt be 40 minutes right? i'm sure you agree that record a 2h mix is more effort than <40 minutes..
and regarding quality over quantity? you're not supposed to put tracks that suck in your 2h mix..tbh for me, 40 minutes really dont come across as much. also: the last track in this mix, you let it play for around 8 minutes? i dont know man.. 40 minutes 8 tracks, thats 5mins/track.. is not what i consider tightly mixed |

why would i record a 40 minute mix? i know my set in a club would be longer but its a mixtape, not a set being played in a club or a demo for a club promoter. its more for casual listening. i do make longer set, much longer sets for mates and house partys and such but as for uploading them for anyone to download, upload time is limited on souncloud and also, i know i'm more inclined to download and listen to a mix if its 1hr or less, these days i barley have time to listen to all the music i'd like unless i'm headin' on a long journey or something. some of the best mixes i've heard have been short and sweet, i see nothing wrong with it, but thats just me.
as for the last track, never thought of having to split tracks evenly through a set, as it was the last track why not just let it play out, however long it is. i'm not tryin to disagree with you or anything, thats your opinion and its sweet, just tellin' you were i'm comin from. lookin' forward to more feedback from you in the future if you can spare 40 mins ;) lol ps. did you enjoy the music? |
