Im after a little bit of advice or help.

I'm 30 in November and plan to do a couple of things for it.

- Ibiza closing parties in Sep/Oct.
- Rent a house somewhere secluded and have a party.

The thing I need help with is the second part. I have looked on google and typed various different searches relating to renting a house for a party, but I'm not having much luck with my attempts. I was wondering if anyone has organised anything similar and if so where was it, how much did it cost to arrange and what website did you use. The whole thing is turning into a right ball-ache if I'm honest.

I live in Newcastle but would be able to arrange it in places as far as Leeds, The Lake District or Scotland.

Any help or advice with this would be muchos appreciated.

I can't imagine you'll be able to rent a house for one night only, let alone rent it solely for the purpose of a 30th. If you do, I think you can wave goodbye to your deposit anyway.

There are a lot of rentable places these days - it seems very popular for holidays/partys/etc. I recently organised a friend's stag do and did most of my searching through these guys : http://www.cottages4you.co.uk/sites/cott.../Home.aspx

Theres a huge range of places both in terms of location, size and how nice the places are (from bare bones to ultra luxurious). Prices reflect this. We ended up paying about 800 for a 12 bedroom places for 3 nights (as wanted it for the full weekend), it would've been about 600 for 2 nights and this was one of the nicer places.
I think it's worth researching them a little bit - some seem more/less happy to rent for parties and a hell of a lot don't really ask for deposits. TBH i'm sure you can get away with not fully explaining what you're planning to do and hoping for the best, for the stag party we're a birthday party where all the participants happen to be male :D And it's not like you're 16 any more and are gonna completely trash the place

Murray888: Yea, this was kind of at the back of my mind, but as rollie said, we got no plans to trash the place, if it's a nice day (unlikely in November mind), a lot of people will probs just chill outside. Could always rent it for a weekend if necessary.

rollie: This is all really sound info man, thanks very much . I'll have a butchers of this website and see what's available. I'm sure i'll be able to find something.
