i cant believe i missed him in SF.. i checked his website like a week before the show but didnt see anything about it.. fuck im so sad i missed that.. oh well :(

saw him at the nyc show a month ago or so. great new tracks, the light show was a BIT underwhelming. most of it was in black and white and there was one track background that was a beautiful red and blue..but that was it for color.
the show featured tom, no bass, no oldies either. seemed a very beta version of a show...the crowd was screaming for more, but it didnt happen, no encore. also at one point he had to str8 up start a song over cause it cut off. he and his ccrew didnt look too pleased as he helped take down the set afterwards. was about as comfortable looking as meeting a gf's dad. still the new songs were very powerful, plenty of half time (no not dubstep) portions in some o the songs. that being said it was his first show i guess, kind of a one off, and im sure any kinks will get ironed out. |
