For anyone that attended our last party at Basing House with Nicholas and Robert Owens, they will confirm it’s all about the pairing on the night where the magic happens. That night Nicholas provided the new interpretations and Robert Owens reminded us why the word legend is often used in his company.

On Saturday 17th March we have another pairing that is sure to produce the magic. Bonar and Burnski are friends and musical counterparts, having both been involved at the 2020 vision stable in Leeds. Burnski was also responsible for excellent remix on Bonar’s Needwant release ‘For All Time’ in 2011.

Burnski, now residing in Berlin has been creating deep emotive house music that we are big fans of at Needwant. He’s released on labels such as 2020, Dessous, Poker Flat, Hot Creations and more. If it’s an original production or remix it always has that distinctive Burnski sound, a subtle groove that hooks you in and doesn’t let go. He’s DJ sets work pretty much the same way. Having been a long term resident at Back to Basics in Leeds he knows how to make a dance floor move, something that many producers are only just learning the art of.

Bonar will need little introduction to any Needwant fans having carved two excellent releases on the label, with ‘You Were Away’ still riding high in the charts. Also one half of PBR Streetgang, Bonar has managed to combine House and Disco sounds for his own unique production sound.

The entire night runs from 10pm until 4am and you can buy early bird tickets for just five pounds.
