I was there in the Paradise Garage DJ booth with Larry Levan.

Arctic Monkeys in a small club in Cambridge 2005. Hot Chip supporting Mylo, Norwich 2004. Presets, Madame JoJos 2006. Jamie T (acoustic!!!) pub in Ipswich 2005. Robbie Williams in village hall in Belgium 1998(?). On the twatted front, once saw Reg Hollis (TWWWAAATTTEEEDDDDD) in The End, at about 4 in the morning dressed as an Edwardian gentleman!!!!! James Ford used to play drums at the old 'Eardrum' nights in Dry Bar. Sometimes to about 9 people.
The first post-Simian SMD outing (they played records, it wasn't a show) was at Band on the Wall. Again about 10 people. |
