she cleared the 50 people who were in the tent
That's 'cause she was put on on the Dance day I think.
She had nearly every single person watching her the next year when she was on the main stage.

Jamie T/Laura Marling @ Stripes Bar (Brentford FC's pub)
As well as Late of the Pier and Cajun Dance Party.
Guillemots @ Spitz
Clor @ Brixton Windmill
The Wombats @ Brixton Windmill

None of them are exactly massive though.

I was there in the Paradise Garage DJ booth with Larry Levan.
I was there in Jamaica during the great sound clashes.
I woke up naked on the beach in Ibiza in 1988.

I was there.

James Ford used to play drums at the old 'Eardrum' nights in Dry Bar. Sometimes to about 9 people.

The first post-Simian SMD outing (they played records, it wasn't a show) was at Band on the Wall. Again about 10 people.

You mean WOO? with the grey beard?
You know you're at the right gig in town when Woo is there! He's ace, we took him to Dot-to-Dot last year as well and he was still dancing at 3am when Erol was on!

That must be him, generally wears a suit and stands in the corner.

I hope I will be as musically aware as him at that age.
