Seriously, people please stop putting Bugged Out against my name. I agree with exactly what Zillo says, people are going to think its me going round telling people I play at bugged Out and thats how I'm going about getting gigs etc...

And exactly what Rob said too, If I'd have worked hard to make a night and built it up then yes fair play, but I can hardly claim that about Bugged Out now can I...

So yes, please dont put Bugged Out against my name. Cheers!

And cheers for backing me up the people who backed me up :)

they nailed Alix Walker and Xander for it a few years back.

with an email that said something along the lines of 'unless you're Rob Bright, don't even think about it'

Weddings are a fine art.

You can get away without having to play 'My Neck, My Crack' but a good pop set is almost as hard to put together as a 'bangingchoonz' set.

I go for around 25% of the more mainstream Northern Soul, 25% Prince, 25% Madonna and 25% 'other' (Harlem Shuffle, 'The Night', 25 Miles From Home etc etc.. )

Fuck me! Will everybody please calm down about this. I'm sure Mat didn't ask to have 'Bugged Out' put on the flyers when they we're printed etc. The same geezer does all the design and he just assumed he should put the same info as the last one, BEFORE Mat asked it to be changed. Big effing deal!
It's not like it's the main fucking selling point. It's a typo people, can we please move on now.

"Mat Payne: Definitley NOT Bugged Out, infact, as far away from Bugged Out as it's physicaly possible to be, actually, I'm not even sure if he's been! Does he even know about it or where it is?"

That good enough for all the fucking club police on here?

If this was DJ History this would have morphed into a new thread (30+pages) titled 'paying your dues: how much is enough?' --- so think yourself lucky!

Stevie (our flyer dude) was working off the info on the Ape-X february flyer, where i think the whole problem started.

The Image on this forum isn't the finalised flyer image, it's just a draft.
I just wanted to get some info out asap, but the offending information is due for removal, so you can all rest easily.

It's not snide... it's an error, which to do so is apparently human (forgiveness is also allegedly devine, unless you're dorothy parker)

robchips Wrote:It's a bit snide of whoever did the flyer innit - the bracket thing is hilarious anyway.

Like when you see those small-time nights at Dry Bar and it's like

DJ LINDA (limbo productions)
DJ KEITH (Crackerjack)
DJ JOHN F (Zebedee, Timbuktu)

like you've heard of any of those things.
The names in bracketts thing is quite important down here, fair enough you may not have heard of BlackMagik or Ape-X in London etc, but these are 2 established nights in Newcastle both playing at an entirely new venue and this represents the most effective way of informing potential punters.

I can also understand people adding the names of their own nights behind their names on flyers, surely its a good way to add profile by association.
