I'm actually sitting hunched waiting for that comment to be taken in the wrong way.

Repeat after me...

"Geordie banter, do not take personally"

I sense a banning is imminent

shyat!

Old news. No scandal. He played there, someone put it on a flier, someone saw it on a flier and put it on another flier, and it goes on until promoters realise and stop doing it. Like chinese design whispers. I dont think any more needs to be said.

I'm gonna put my university down.

In theory I'll get better gigs than you as I'll look more qualified.

I'm gonna get to the gig early to nail my degree certificate up in the booth.

My mate who teaches music tech is pushing for their course to get degree accreditation.

A large aspect of the course (if you pick the right modules) is DJing and production.

Imagine having to show your degree certificate in DJing to get gigs.

Actually, that's a fucking good idea, might weed out a few Johnny Laptops..

yeah right, and a licence for djing like in portugal? great idea! (yeah Im being sarcastic). It's all about art and DIY let the people do whatever they want I already got my degree I don't need another one. if people want to dj with tape reels let them. the moment you start making people thinking this is a job/trade/something you can be taught it's the beginning of its demise - we don't need rules.

I was joking too.

My mate's course sounds hilarious though - he uses a headphone splitter to listen in on a student's mix and check if they're car-crashing.

There's a module on mixing in key as well. Students have to successfully demonstarte a mix in key as part of their mark. (!)

Rather than put my school/qualifications/clubs played at/parties played at on any fliers, i reckon I'll just continue to put out fliers with factual errors on them.

It hasn't half helped keep this topic bouncing along.

I'll have the prices on the new T's (as well as the other new images available) within the next week or so.
Please can anyone who's interested send me a fezbook with the design and sizes req'd
Limited to 1 per person.
