Switch and Duke Dumont are ALL over it at the minute.

The stuff Switch has done with Santogold and the last MIA album is fucking TOP and his recent solo output AND his remixes have ALL killed!! Can't wait to herar the new 'Tricky' stuff he's done too!!

The 'Dominion Dubs' e.p. from the Duke is seriously going to OWN the dancefloors this summer too and it should shut all the nobs up that said he was a one trick pony coz of 'Lean And Bounce'.

Other producers (not all from our shores) doing it at the mo for me,,, Boy 8-Bit, Oliver $ has been wicked lately, Villalobos and Shakleton, Audion/Mathew Dear, Popof, Sascha Funke, Jesse Rose, Radioslave and Riton of course.

(P.S. fuck the haters, Herve and The Crookers are STILL bang on the game too.)

danny byrd, sub focus in general...both making some well interesting proudction, not your standard d and b...danny byrds almost justice like with it, kinda cut and pastey. its good

outside of drum n bass....gotta be alex metric, every production he makes kills it. far too loud, twocker (if you lot love wonky stuff you'll prob orgasm over twocker), skream, sinden, benga, adam freeland, tayo

as far as DJ sets go, Riton was unbelieveable in Birmingham, that boy sure knows how to work a crowd.

Having a bit of a hostage day today, seems to be consistently awesome.

Got some real talent in the UK at the moment, getting really excited by LOTP and lovin pretty much everyone mentioned in this thread, especially Boy 8 bit and the dubsided crew. Well up for seeing Boy 8 bit at rainbow in Birmingham, heard he is mint live.

Thanks guys! Most of these dudes I've heard of so I guess I'm in touch up here.... A lot of these dudes are really American influenced and putting more Baltimore club and 90's hip hop references in their tracks. I'm hearing tech house and dubstep in there as well and that's what make things sound english. No? Is there not that much happeinng in the bloghouse scene?

What's happening in the nu/edits/disco scene?

There's no doubting that the UK is definitely one of the electronic music capitals. But, let us not ignore the sexy incognito Japanese electro scene. Check out:
