Been meaning to ask about this.
A live show would be fantastic! I remember reading somewhere that he doesn't really give a shit about music and he was more into Graffiti etc. Therefore wont do shows.......

i wouldn't say that it's dance music.....just good electronic music.

i think i read some interview with boys noize who said that you would never se him doing a dj/live set. can't remember what reason he had to not perform live though.

What i mean is why bother producing music if you have no intention of preforming it live. Why waist your own time? I didn't think there was that much money in producing these days.
Maybe he just hates night clubs.

well this video shows hes put quite a bit of money into it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsRs3WzsARA
all those synths and whatnot.
Thats actually a really cool situation, doing something as a hobby and getting famous for it, but keeping it as a hobby.
but also judging by that video he could do a pretty sweet live set. so i'd love to see that.

It dosn;t have to be about money, man!? Why graffiti on walls? It's a creative outlet!
I myspace him some time ago and he said he doesn;t dj or play live. I'd like to have seen him give it a go!

I think a live performance would be pretty cool. His tracks are great, suppose that's enough to ask of someone. Rather that than him touring all the time and not making new music anymore!

thats true, but i could see him playing a live show at a small venue where he opened for a funk band or something. or vice versa. either way i think it would work great and be a fantastic show.
but i guess its not really my decision is it.

Its not all about money, but about what you enjoy.
If hes spending alot of time learning to produce and producing it songs it makes me wonder about what the man does to keep himself fed and clothed, because id like to be able to live like that.

Some people never have to lift a finger. In fact many great creatives were born with a silver spoon in their mouths.
I am not implying that Siriusmo was, but you just don't know!

I read on the boys noize records blog that Siriusmo makes a living by doing illustrations and commercial graffitis. He is in a collective of illustrators, and on that webpage he is described as a bit of a'survivalist'. So definetly no silver spoon feeding him. I also think he was/is involved somehow with sugarbytes, a company which makes vsts. Siriusmo is partly credited for the Wow filter vst. Their products (especially the wow filter and the unique synthesizer) is what you need if you want to make some siriusmo style tracks with that vowel sound btw.

all this talk of siriusmo and that video i posted earlier made me want to mess around with stuff like he does, so I made a reason file that imitates lastdear with a 4 bar loop of the synth chords, then you can just solo over it with a midi keyboard. i just spent an hour doing it myself.
if anyone wants the file PM me. its a lot of fun. that riff is great.

"The only problem he has, he can't be on stage. He's sick. It's a huge problem for him, but we'll change it. He's working on an album for Monkeytown, and it's almost finished, and then the deal is that he will do everything in his power to be able to be on stage, and we will support him. We will be part of a band with him maybe, I don't know what it will look like, but we will all be on stage together so that he feels safe, and not so alone. This way he'll have some veterans on stage with him. Because it's no problem for me to be on stage, I don't care, but for him, the very idea of being on stage is like the worst thing in the world."
Oh wow, I had no idea. It's weird, I feel like there are a lot of dance producers who have similar anxieties about performing or DJing in front of any kind of audience. Alan Braxe used to have a huge problem with that, apparently.
"I know what you're saying, but I wouldn't say that Siriusmo is making music for the clubs. It's something really special, what he's doing. Not all of his music is my cup of tea, but every song he makes has touched my soul, and shown me some truth inside. It sounds real, you know? It sounds expensive, and it sounds real! [laughs]"

That's tablets for that sort of thing.
Mr Flash said he videos every time he plays a Siriusmo track so that 'Mo knows what his own tracks sound like in clubs/the reaction they get haha.

i doubt he 'hates' anything
he just doesnt need to make a living from touring the world and playing gigs which it seems he doesnt enjoy
not when he already makes his money from art
im sure there a lot of producers who dont enjoy the live shows because of similar nervousness and stuff like siriusmo. they only do it because they need to pay the bills !

I believe he has an INCREDIBLY debilitating fear of being on stage. Very, very shy bloke. Not his fault and I'm sure if he felt he absolutely had to perform, he would.
