OK, so just got this.
I'd heard Forever You, though it was special, and Reprise is a banger. But then I put Do You Remember on and it's ill, frankly.

Really wish there was a Dub version of Do You Remember, so fucking good. I don't mind them vocals but would be nice to have a dub.

L-Vis 1990 is the person I am most impressed with since Duke Dumont. Totally does his own thing, works every time.

true dat, just as fresh as the releases themselves

is it just me or does forever you and the reprise totally sample Brandon Boyd, the singer from Incubus? that vocal line at 3:40 in forever you is almost definitely him. I know this because incubus was my favorite band for much of middle school. no shame.
but does anyone agree? cause its driving me crazy enough to ask.

i can see where you're coming from, but i don't think it sounds that much like him

Just heard this... oh my god, I'm in love! No surprise really, L-Vis 1990 is definitely a pioneer of the new scene
EDIT: is he only 19 or 20? That's superimpressive

Yeah, I think 1990 in his name stands for the year he was born? Think so anyway.

Ah, even so... what an EP!

Have to rewrite how much I love this whole EP again, potentially favourite Night Slugs release

With you on this. Forever You has been on constant repeat although still undecided whether it tops the Egyptrixx EP.

And it doesn't look like they've slacked off at all with the Kingdom EP as well...

I know. Kingdom one sounds like best yet, which is madness on the previous ones. Most consistent label of 2010 without a doubt.

Big, big EP. Night Slugs are absolutely killing it at the moment.

I'm not a huge fan of L-Vis to be honest, although when I'm in a nu-garage (is that even a genre?) kind of mood I quite enjoy Night Slugs releases. I must say though, I only really like the title track on this one.
