Dissident Records.

I've been buying a load of stuff on Dissident Records recently, seems like everything they're putting oput is fucking brilliant! From the disco-ish edits and the 'real' techno through to the the italo tracks. Bit of a bastard that most of them are $8:99 and only pressed on one side but suppose this is as they're all limited pressings of 100 -200. Lable of the minute for me. They can do no wrong. Anybody else feeling them then?

Re: Dissident Records.

They are great, I think Helium Robot's Metallic Dawn is my favourite so far. Something very Bladerunner about it.

...oh and obviously Columbia #1. Yet to hear this played out, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time, and I'll bet it sounds big on a proper system.

Re: Dissident Records.

Yeah, Helium Robots is excellent, it is quite Bladerunner to say the least, (just like 'Columbia 1 is a 'bit' StarTrek, ha ha.)
Just got the 'Invincible Scum' 12", 'House Of The Rising Scum' this week too, really feeling that as well. It just seems like almost every track Dissident are puttin' out is an absolute fuckin' killer. A return to real grooves methinks.

(Can't wait till Friday, I'll be canning 'Columbia 1' a big soundsystem for the first time. Gonna be H.O.T.)

Yes Indeed- Look out for some tracks coming up from Tommy Walker III on Dissident. Disco squelch. Does anyone know if Dissident tracks will be released digitally?
